About UCW Wise

UCW Wise is University Canada West’s open-access institutional repository. This platform collects, preserves, and makes accessible the intellectual output of UCW’s faculty, staff, students, and alumni. The digital collections in UCW Wise work in tandem with UCW's Research Publications Database (powered by OpenAlex) to provide a free, public record of the scholarly, creative work coming out of the university.

UCW Wise collects the following:

• Published journal articles,
• Books,
• Book chapters,
• Conference presentations or papers,
• Research reports,
• Course work (including capstone projects),
• Community engagement projects, and 
• Institutional documents.

UCW Wise is a member of Arca, a network of digital repositories that archives and showcases post-secondary scholarship from British Columbia, the Yukon, and beyond.
